Presidential scholarships for students of Black heritage
Imperial's Presidential Scholarship is available in each of the Faculties of Engineering, Imperial Business School, Medicine and Natural Sciences for offer holders of Black Heritage. Successful applicants will receive home tuition fees and be offered Mentoring Support by the Activate programme for courses up to 4 years.
Black Heart Foundation Scholarship
The Black Heart Foundation Scholarship provides annual bursaries to support education from preparatory study to postgraduate and community-based learning across most disciplines. Open mainly to UK and US students, with consideration for other resource-limited regions.
Miranda Brawn Diversity Leadership Scholarship
Empowering future leaders: The Miranda Brawn Diversity Leadership Foundation offers annual UK scholarships in Law, Finance, STEAM, Medicine, Human Rights, and more. Includes mentoring, networking & leadership. Apply 1 Mar–30 Jun 2026.
Presidential scholarships for students of Black heritage
Imperial’s Presidential Scholarships for Black Heritage Students support UK/Home students of Black heritage on eligible postgraduate Master’s programmes in business, engineering, medicine and natural sciences. Awards cover full tuition, maintenance, equipment allowance, and mentoring.
Imperial’s Black Future Leaders
Imperial College Business School offers the Black Future Leader Award for students from Black or mixed Black backgrounds. The scholarship recognises outstanding leadership or potential, with selection based on application strength, interview, and professional experience.
Black Heart Foundation Scholarship

Law Society Diversity Access Scheme
The Diversity Access Scheme supports aspiring solicitors from underrepresented backgrounds by offering a scholarship covering SQE prep and fees, providing a professional mentor, and offering paid work experience. Applications open early 2026.
University of Southampton Black Futures Scholarship
The Black Futures Scholarship at UoS funds PhDs in any subject for students of Black or mixed-Black heritage, covering tuition, living costs, and a training allowance. Scholars join a dedicated cohort with research support, training, and professional development opportunities.
